Twitter is applying for state licenses to launch a payment platform in the US. A few months earlier, in November, the company had registered as a payment processor with the US Treasury Department.
Musk says users will be able to easily send money to their friends on Twitter. The company also plans to add an option to transfer to an authenticated bank account. The exact date of this modern payment platform is not yet known. As soon as we learn something new, we will inform you about it.
